SHAKIRA'S BIOGRAPHY
Shakira was born in Barranquilla city, Colombia in february 2nd. she started to sing at five years old. She shown her artistic talent through her particular arabic dance and her songs, at age eigth years old she started to write and to compose songs, one of the first songs that she wrote was called " tus gafas oscuras" where she talks of her pains and her father.
She took part of competition program t.v. this program looked children artist and she won this competition three times consecutive.
When she was ten she went to audition for the school's choir and she was rejected because her voice was extremely husky and her friends tell her that her voice sound like a goat.
she decided looked for other oportunities and then she started to get success.
In my opinion i like her very much because when she started to sing in english she didn't know english enough and she was very persistent even it was very difficult for her when she had to write songs. but i think that she knows and understands very well this language in that moment. As well i like so much her songs all over the lyrics.
One of her most important albums, that made her world famous, was called laundry service and with her first single whenever, wherever that it was the number six in the ranking in USA.
The most important cause that she is my favorite singer is because she has been very persintent to get that she is today as singer, although her voice is not very sweet but however i like her music all over because she writes her own sings.
